The shot of my house is over 6 years old because I replace the roof back
then and changed the color and the shot has the color of the old roof. LOL

Some people seem to think Google Earth images are close to real-time.
Maybe they watch too much TV and movies.

I recall that recently at the government inquiry here into our bad 
bushfires last February (Victoria, Australia) some responsible authority 
indicated they had been blind-sided regarding assessing fuel loads 
because they were using Google Earth and didn't realise that the images 
were two years out of date.
