Digital Globe and Terrafly

Terrafly is from Florida International University; Digital Globe is a
for-profit company; overheads are for sale.

The blacked-out images may not be Google's fault, BTW - there are
occasionally blackouts imposed by DoD, among others, although WHY they'd
black out archived imagery I have no idea.

The recent Russian incursion into Georgia had much of the Caucasus Range
blanked for a few weeks... I guess no-one told DoD that the Google
imagery is a couple of years old....

HTH!

PS: Same imagery, but you don't get the "We don't have imagery for this
level of zoom" (it just gets fuzzier) by using Google Earth rather than
accessing through your browser in Google maps.

HTH some more!
