PC = personal computer.  This does not, in of itself,
mean a specific OS is involved.  

This thread cannot be a "bash Windows" thread.

Many applications, including automation run on Windows. Period.
Slamming Windows, MS, or the programmer is not going to
contribute to a discussion.

The Windows/Linux/OS2/Apple religious wars don't solve anyone's problems.

The wise IT person (or engineer) chooses the right tool for the job.
Sometimes it is a PC running Windows. Sometimes not.

Let's approach this thread carefully ... if at all.
