I was in IT for a few years back in the day ( the day of Windows for  
Workgroups 3.11) and my degree says  Computer Information Systems on  
it, admittedly now mega obsolete....FWIW. I decided right about the  
time W2K came out it was time for a career change. My salary went way  
down but my outlook on life went way up. IT was turning me into a robot.

The simplest way to fix PC problems is to not use Windows. The only  
really good operating system Microsoft ever sold was MS-DOS. A  
totally patched up Win 2K with all the service packs was pretty good.  
Microsoft was still ahead of Apple with their OS 9, which was user  
friendly but pretty bad off in the stability dept. No better than  
windows was and sometimes much worse. Win 2K was a lot better.

As of OSX 10.3 and beyond, Apple has the worlds best operating system  
of any computer. There are no effective virii on OS X. If you have to  
run Windows for something, the mac runs it natively at full speed.  
With some 3rd party solutions, the mac runs both windows and OSX and  
Linux.....all at the same time with no emulation at full speed. No  
other desktop computer can do this at any price. sensitive  
information such as accounting and financial info can be run behind  
OSX where PC virii cant get to it no matter what and PC snoopers and  
keyloggers don't work.
