Richard:
I don't think anyone believes the fiber optic cable is going to
radiate any RF at all.
The question is, does the box the fiber goes into, or the companion
one inside the house radiate any RF, or in the case of the single box
(inside only) installation, does that one radiate any RF.
It is a microprocessor intensive box, breaking out Internet, cable TV
and telephone. It could radiate like crazy, but I doubt it does. I
have friends with FIOS, and I don't think any of them have had any
trouble, though none are hams.
