Not quite the same issue, but the first day on the air with a new Bauer
707, we ran an EBS test (carrier on/off three times plus tone). We dropped
the carrier, brought it back up, and tripped the breaker driving the
transmitter (it had fuses on the line entry, but we had a breaker on the
wall). Between the breaker being sensitive due to being warm since it had
a continuous load and the inrush surge on the transmitter, the breaker
tripped. I eventually had to pull in larger wire and a bigger breaker.
