 Well, that's what I thought !
 All voices from a single point in space just isn't natural.

 Severe pan was only used for special affect, and only briefly.

 Very consistent. I took pains to make sure it was a very natural
 sounding spatial displacement.
 Reason ? No. They heard it for all of one show, and it was only
 about 5 minutes into it that the golden-ear PD complaints started.

 BUT, as an engineer, I am a facilitator.
 It's my job to deliver what programming wants.
 I'll advise if I think it might be a bad idea, but ultimately if you
 are the PD, you'll get what you ask for, even if I don't happen
 to agree.
