> I remember "Super CFLs" version. It was the last song played on the Larry Lujack Show when the format was changed to Beautiful Music. WCFL just couldn't hold up against WLS. I know Larry had a contract with the Chicago Federation of Labor that he could get out of and had to stay at WCFL until he could break the contract, then he quickly went back to to WLS to be the morning jock.

I listened to WCFL and WLS from Gary, Ind. until 1960 when I moved away at 18. I stopped
enjoying WLS when ABC bought it and turned it to the dark side. (rock and roll in~1960)
As a kid I really enjoyed hearing that the employees of WCFL went on strike, I thought it ironic
that a radio station owned by a union would have union employees strike against it.
WCFL claimed to be a "HiFI" station running proofs and operating out to 10 kc/s something I never
ran into as I studied electronics and the FCC.
