[BC] Aluminum Radials for AM

Richard,
If I didn't have to cut the grass, I'd use aluminum radials and let them just lay on the ground, but I like to keep my site looking nice and pretty, so I keep that grass cut and I make sure my the crew that cuts my grass does not allow any weeds growing up around my fence. Too bad aluminum fades away in the ground. I take pride how my tower site looks.

I once put up a temporary AM site so that the main one could be completely
rebuilt after tornado damage. I used a Rohn Home TV tower and 16 radials made
from aluminum electric-fence wire. The wires were laid on the ground. After the
main site repair, we laid the temporary tower down. About 20 years later I
> visited the site. The aluminum wires were still there.
