curious:

what's the best sounding AM you've personally heard? not the loudest,
not the most coverage, but the best sounding , an AM so good if you
closed your eyes you'd swear you were listening to a FM mono signal
when heard through a good receiver?

We have a small market station in Hagerstown MD, maybe 30 miles from
me, that just sounds great. They got lows, highs and everything
between, and they JUST SOUND GOOD.....good enough to when you are
tuning through the dial, you stop on them when you hear 'em. They
play music geared to 55 and up, not my cup o tea, but I usually wind
up listening for a while anyways.

I don't have any connection to them whatsoever, besides admiring how
they sound.

Any other AM's that you think simply sound heads n shoulders above
the rest in your area?
