I *loved* Knoppix and used it exclusively until Ubuntu 9.04 came out. Knoppix isn't updated as often as I would have liked, while Ubuntu supports just about every NIC in existence.
If you're a Knoppix fan like me and haven't tried Ubuntu, I wholeheartedly recommend it.
