Scott,

It doesn't look like you need a big one, but, you get what you pay
for, and you want the reliability.  I suggest you shop around.

A common rule of thumb is that a generator runs optimal at around 75
to 80 percent.  So if you buy a 3000 watt generator, expect it to
handle a continuous load of 2400 Watts.

This makes me wonder how the newer Honda EU units would run a small TX
site like yours.  I think the smallest unit they have in the EU series
that supplies 220VAC is a 6KW unit and it runs around 3500 dollars,
give or take.  You could run your TX site and run a espresso bar all
at the same time!!! (you can tell I'm from Seattle)
