You are correct as usual, we operated on the lower sideband of 690 kcps to protect us from the lower sideband of KMPC  ("one of America's Great Radio Stations) on 710 kcps.  We also has some problems with KFI but KMPC was the closest. 
 
Those cobwebs in my old brain are beginning to make me sound like I am full of bs.
