[BC] AES/EBU issue

The STL has analog audio input at the studio end, not AES/EBU. The digital
signal is created totally within the DSP6000D from what I can see. I've
been told it doesn't matter if it's analog or digital input. It ends up
being identical over the link.

Perhaps, but this older one does not. I believe it dates back to around
1993 or 1994.

I am appreciative of the comments on this. It does appear that the Moseley
unit does not have the correct flags in some parts of the data structure.
I'll be contacting them to remind them of the issues that have been found in
the past to see just how this is to be corrected.

As far as configuration, there does not seem to be anything at all that can
be changed to affect the AES/EBU output. There are a number of internal dip
switches. All but one are off. The one that's on is for the EbNo, if I
remember correctly. Nothing to do with the digital output.

Forgot to mention that this is the main, full time AES/EBU output and not
the selective one for the Aux channels.

Anyone have a later version of the DSP6000D? It would be quite interesting
to borrow it briefly to see if it works where the older one doesn't. I'd
also be happy to rent it for a fair charge, plus shipping.
