Does your power company offer an energy usage audit?  Have them come out.  A
lot of times, they will pay for you to install efficient lighting,
insulation and other things to lower your bill.  Look into that.

Scott,

The solution is to make sure your transmitter is operating as it should.
Have an engineer from Broadcast Electronics and make sure everything is
optimally set. I do not believe that the transmitter has a problem.

I think you could reduce your electric bill by examining your entire
electrical load and replace inefficient equipment with more efficient stuff.
I did that with my commercial building and cut the bill in half.

As others have already mentioned, screwing around with your signal is false
economy (that's me paraphrasing).

I doubt that you will ever see a return in saved dollars when you consider
the cost of raising the efficiency of your ENTIRE electrical load.
