Are you referring to the decision to allow corporations to contribute
(unlimited, I think) funds to political parties/candidates?
Please discuss this further, if you would. I personally think this is
wrong, that contributions should be limited to individuals, and that
corporations should have no right to contribute to our political system. The
reason being then that seems to open doors (further) for foreign interests
to meddle in our political system.
If that isn't the case, let me (us) know. The reason I'm replying here
on BC is that I heard snippets of this decision on US radio, but no in-depth
discussions, so what it all REALLY means is still a bit of a mystery to me.
I didn't hear much of anything about it on CBC either, but then the only
time I listen to CBC is when I'm on the road, and I wasn't much the few days
following the SC's decision.
