KGFJ/1230 in L.A. had a 4 degree vertical.
For all its trouble, it got grandfathered at 241, the minimum for its
class.
It is now in the process of licensing a two tower DA-1 array using
towers of co-owned KBLA/1580.
The pattern minimum is about 241 towards co-channels in Bakersfield
and San Diego, but it sends more than 241 towards the COL downtown
district, and nearly three times that towards the target market
L.A.:s Koreatown.
