Try to get it to work with an M-Audio card.  If you know the secret 
please let me know.  I have a community college which uses the DJB and 
the IT department "upgraded" the audio card and now the software will 
not play or record audio.  The on board card works fine.  Everything 
else, Adobe, etc. works fine with the new card.

Having said that, I have been pleased with the DJB up until this point 
and have installed it at several small market and campus stations.
