The Western Electric 25-B Consoles and later the Altec Console had the same metering panel and switch which allowed you to monitor the cathode current of each stage. Many RCA, Langevin, Western Electric, Collins Custom Audio and probably Gates Custom Audio modules had the terminals for metering the cathode current of each stage.
At WRR in Dallas the old consoles had all the amps mounted in the racks but we had two meter panels with large position rotary switches to monitor the cathodes of all the Western Electric and RCA amps used in the master control room.
