[BC] The snow mess

Columbia has from 2 to 7 inches reported, enough to shut down most stuff
here (most locals become worse idiots than usual when there is snow or ice
and absolute imbeciles when driving.  It's much worse when you're not
accustomed to it.)
Out my front door looks like ~3 inches. At ~8PM, it was coming down in
little clumps at  a ~30 degree angle.
My power was out from 8:55Pm until 4:20 AM.  The PSC will be getting another
call about the frequent outages and fragility of the power system in my
neighborhood first thing next week..
My deepest sympathy to those with lots more; Stay warm........
