I hate to say it, but the apathy of the general area in Clarksdale
among the business community is the real killer.  It should work based
on the numbers, but the attitude around that community makes it a
uphill battle all the way.  Back when the station was blues, I was a
daily listener to WROX.  When George Hindes blew a gasket on the air
at the local businesses I knew he'd tried all he could, and was
desperately frustrated at them.  It may not be impossible, but it's
very, very hard to hack out a living in that market.
