FWIW: Paul financed Allison Research with his royalties from Incense &
Peppermints by Strawberry Alarm Clock. After the divorce, he sold the
company to two employees, one of which eventually ran off with all of the
money. The company has gone through several iterations since.

Last I knew, Paul was into stage lighting controllers.

I really like the Valley processors. Paul Buff did an amazing job on the
design. For a little background, Paul came up with the design for the
Kepex, a very popular expander/gate and sold a lot of them and other
processors. The company was named Allison Research, for his wife. After
their divorce, he changed the name to Valley People. It then became Valley
Audio, Valley International, and was sold to a company in Kansas. I don't
know if they are still in business.
