For all the naysayers out there, 1380 WPHM, Port Huron, MI. today raised 
$164,200 at the 54th annual March of Dimes Jail and Bail.  The Jail and 
Bail concept was originated in Port Huron on then WTTH (Now WPHM).  FYI, 
the country station (WSAQ) will raise over $100K for the prevention of 
child abuse this September; the morning person lives on the roof of the 
mall for a week.  This is a county north of Detroit with official 
unemployment numbers reaching 24%.  Radio works if you never abandoned 
your community.
