[BC] Long-range WiFi

I had a 'B' only router from the former pre-Cisco days and that was fine.

My first 54G was purchased somewhere around 2005 and I think it was
pre-Cisco. I'm reasonably certain... No, I'm not certain about the second
one but pretty sure the last one was after Cisco bought 'em.

I don't have problems (or know of any) with the IT-grade stuff.

I worked with one of their VOIP call center solutions and came away with the
impression that they modularized everything to an unnecessary degree. I
need to pull reference to that job off my IT resume so I don't get
recruiting calls about it anymore.

was that before or after CISCO bought them out?

Because Linksys is now "consumer" CISCO equipment; and while I haven't
tried their wireless stuff yet, their wired Ethernet switches are pretty
rugged!
