was that before or after CISCO bought them out?

Because Linksys is now "consumer" CISCO equipment; and while I haven't
tried their wireless stuff yet, their wired Ethernet switches are pretty
rugged!

The one I'm using now has been running 24/7 almost non-stop, ever since
I bought it...

Over three years ago.

nary a glitch

Oh, and I did (maybe) try a Linksys wireless component, come to think of
it - I bought one of Innovative Devices' USB WiFi-on-a-Yagi...

Works pretty well, if I can find a signal strong enough AND unencrypted....
