In my opinion then, the remote wasn't done 
right.  Too many of these "remotes" sound like
they are running through a cellphone system.
That in itself is a listener turnoff.  Perhaps then
the remote didn't have "heroin content" - where
the listener  *just has to*  listen in and perhaps
interact.

Oops!  Then why have radio at all, in any form?
