For a Talker, I have WQIZ sounding pretty darn good using an Optimod 
9400. I would love another Optimod box for WCKI. Those CRL boxes sound 
NASTY, even after I "Shotgunned" the Caps in all 3 boxes.

YES! I have some CDs from the 1980s and the recent "Re-Master" CDs of 
the same album. The originals sound so much better! The RCA and Epic CDs 
that were pressed in Japan when CDs first came out really do sound GOOD. 
Another great sounding CD is Bill Monroe's CD "Southern Flavor" on the 
MCA Label. When Herb Alpert was running the place, A&M put out some good 
sounding CDs as well.
