  I forgot your path was 16 miles...
Is there a POTS line and DSL available?
  I have one station  running only on a DSL.
The location makes my DSL unreliable.. its in a swamp.
  water gets into the copper pairs.
  But its my only feed. I have no other choice.
I am working on adding a DSL to a location closer to the site. and 
then using my little WIFI units to send across the swamp to the TX.
This will eliminate the bad copper at my site.

  Maybe you can find a location closer to your site that may have FIOS or DSL
  and then RF link to the site.
  Just thinking of options
