You are TOTALLY correct.
We don't need any In Band ADJACENT CHANNEL system.
We totally screwed up when we dismissed Eurika 147.
We could still do that, but we won't. We are stupid.
Still, the digital formats sound pretty bad. OK, they are better than
AM as we do it currently in the US, but it is worse than FM.
