I lived in U-verse territory until a year ago. I had U-verse for TV only.

I had one real complaint - the digital output of the box would pop on a frequent basis. Once I spoke with a tech that new what he was talking about he told me this was a defect that Microsoft was working on. Since they don't include the 5.1 audio with the standard rez picture, so I just changed to the analog output.

They other complaint is that audio levels on U-verse were  not as consistent as Direct TV, but were better than Dish or Fios.

We had Fios for the past year and the Motorola boxes are a real weak spot. We had had three boxes, all of them intermittent in much the same way. Frankly I am shocked Verizon has not sued Motorola.

As soon as our contract was up we sent them back and went back to Direct as they seem to be the best.
