Outdoor connections to ground rods should only be done by Cadweld.   
Brazing CAN be OK, but the ground rods are your lightning protection.   
Since lightning is such a high current, the temprature at the soldered  
connection can get hot enough to melt the solder.  That isn't good, to  
say the least.
