[BC] Failing XM Radio

Tom, gotta disagree here

If you go to car-part.com, you can check out available radios for vehicles

it lists all available options

in my experience, the connectors are the same, to do otherwise would be to
needlessly complicate vehicle construction
there may be an extra antenna connector for the satellite antenna, but other
than that, I can't see where its a huge problem

for example 2008 Dodge Caravan (partial listing, with spaces to show the
'pairs')

AM/FM/6 disc CD/MP3, w/o SAT radio
AM/FM/6 disc CD/MP3, SAT radio

AM/FM/6 disc CD/DVD changer (REQ), w/o SAT radio
AM/FM/6 disc CD/DVD changer (REQ), SAT radio

AM/FM/CD/MP3 (RES), w/o SAT radio
AM/FM/CD/MP3 (RES), SAT radio

AM/FM/DVD/20 GB HDD/MP3/factory Rr camera compatible (REN), w/o SAT radio
AM/FM/DVD/20 GB HDD/MP3/factory Rr camera compatible (REN), SAT radio

one can fairly easily find a compatible non-satellite radio to replace the
current one

I took the AM-FM-CD out of my Grand Caravan and replaced with a straight
AM-FM with no problem

However, YMMV
