Yes. Unfortunately it's a too small event to slow down global warming,
so it will not help us much in that regard...
Btw, this is the biggest disruption of European air traffic in
history. About 3/4 of all flights in more than 20 countries across
Europe have been cancelled. Airlines are estimated to be loosing about
$200m a day. Given that many are already verging on unprofitably in
these recession times, some could run into financial difficulties.
Unfortunately, the volcano shows no signs of stopping and the wind
patterns are such that the cloud could linger over Europe for a few
more days...
