MEGAWATT CLASS A AMs!

I saw a recent article where some of the international stations are 
re-thinking their decision to drop high-powered analog shortwave,

due to the iffy availability of local outlets...

Analog has the capability - proven - of managing to get SOMETHING 
through regardless -

unlike digital, which can be easily disrupted, analog is MUCH more 
robust per unit bandwidth.

VOA, RFE/RL, et al... are re-learning that lesson in various locales as 
local stations decide not to carry the programming - and local 
governments block the IPs from their national systems...
