The EAS test records are NOT a required part of the Public Inspection file, and there are other changes that do need to be updated, i.e. letters from the public, etc. Check "The Public and Broadcasting" booklet, the latest version of which must be in the PI file. It is very specific about what must be in the PI file. AT least one inspector has told me, that if it doesn't have to be in the file, keep it out of the file. This is both from an FCC and good business practices purpose. There were two revisions of the booklet in 2008, April and July. The July 2008 is the latest on the FCC web site at; http://www.fcc.gov/mb/audio/decdoc/public_and_broadcasting.html and should be in your PI file.
