Since this person chose to double post this diatribe I think it's 
appropriate that I double post my response.

We've already had a long and mean-spirited attack on DJs. Do we 
really need to rehash it because you're pissed?

A religious station. Is this one with trained humans or high school 
kids hired to push buttons for canned religion? Are you certain that 
all DJs act the same way with your blanket statements?  I'm sure you 
were already aware they probably had no technical training. It seems 
to me that would be your responsibility if they've fallen short. 
Should the same broad brush be applied to all engineers because a few 
are incompetent?

I'm curious why the engineer relied on seemingly untrained operators 
rather than dealing with the issue himself. Was sleep or down time 
more important?

 From reading your diatribe I suspect there's a human interaction 
problem in the engineering department. It sounded like a police interrogation.
