[BC] forget the brain dead engineers what about the DJ's?

look i have had it with DJ's or board ops that think they know more 
than an engineer.....
this is about a SYNE SYSTEM time problem,, i asked the DJ or board op 
to do some simple things to determine if the original problem was taken 
care of..
the timing was a day off from what it was suppose to be, it thought it 
was MARCH still when actually it was APRIL... i redid that.  but to 
make sure the hours were right i asked them not to turn on the 
transmitter manually..
well every board op that came in turned the transmitter on in the 
morning, saying " i had to it didn't come on"..
ok so i then reset the time an hour up,, so now i get a call "it came 
on at least a half hour before the time it was suppose to"..  ok i told 
him to let me know right away when it goes off this evening, that way i 
can make a change and see if it will then go off at the right time.
oh i got the call alright after the real turn off time had passed... he 
said " it went off an hour early then i had to turn it back on",, ok 
but you were to call me when that happened,, " I don't have the time to 
call you"....
this is a religous station he plays music and taped sermons,, how much 
time does one need to make a call???
anyway i told him to leave a note for the next board op coming in the 
morming to not touch the transmiter and see what time it does come on.. 
and again he didn't listen no note for the next guy.
what really urged me was i had asked some simple yes or no questions 
and keeped getting explanations.. i continually had to stop him and say 
these are yes or no questions i need no explanations.
i asked the questions again,, silence for about 30 seconds,,, "are you 
still there"? i asked and here comes the explanations again..
well i still don't know if it works right or wrong, and one last thing 
i told the board op is i could teach a monkey to run it and do what i 
had asked..

TALK ABOUT REALLY BRAIN DEAD BOARD OPERATORS.

ok rant is over...  any one have simular problems with board 
operators???
