> How many of you file a daily/weekly/monthly/occasional report to your

> 1. what is the best frequency you've found?
	Weekly report immediately after log reviews per FCC requirement, others as needed.  My management doesn't like to be bugged by routine.

> 2. what do you do to make sure they read it?
	Make sure it's never a waste of their time.  I keep it short and to the point.

> 3. what range and level of detail do you cover?
	Only what is necessary to get the point across.  I pride myself in being able to explain complex electronics things at a level they can understand and NEVER baffle them with technical BS.

> 4. what is the best story about their response?
	Around here, it works and I get results usually, although not always what I want, sometimes it's more.

> 5. what is the distribution: solely the GM, or to the PD?
	Weekly reports to GM, and PD of each of the 6 stations as well as to my asst./IT manager.  Other reports to those who will be affected.  Lack of communication is one of the biggest problems we (as an industry) have.  All the emails, texting etc mean nothing if the message does not get through and get acknowledged.
