    Well, sure, but even those folks have to keep their cars and homes in
good condition. I'd think that this concept would easily carry over to the
physical plant that they're managing.

    Yes, I've done work for one such manager, and he was fired eventually.
I've worked for several "mom-n-pop" stations and one cluster manager, and
each seemed to realize the worth of keeping things going smoothly. That's
been my limited experience.

    Well, yes, I've seen that, and I've seen the reverse come around as
well.
