I know I'm going to catch flak for this, but Dana, you are right. A number of these so-called religious broadcasters operate on the basis they have a mandate from God to spread the Gospel to all mankind. They ALSO have a belief that they don't have to obey the laws of man. The ends justify the means. This contradicts EVERYTHING that Jesus taught. Of course, I also think that a lot of these groups are using the name of God as a means and justification to enrich THEMSELVES in the process.
To paraphrase an old saying, 90% of the religious broadcasters give the other 10% a bad name.
This, along with other non-related issues, is why I no longer identify myself as a member of any main-stream religious denomination. Yes, I believe in Christianity, and I call myself a Christian, but trust me, there's a BIG difference between Christianity and Religion.
