A snowstorm caused..."Nine Bismarck-Mandan FM radio stations
reportedly were knocked off the air due to power problems, according
to Dave Thompson, news director for Prairie Public Radio, including
his station. KACL, KKCT, KCND, KXRV, KSSS, KUSB, KBYZ and KKBO lost
their signals due to power losses from their transmitter in St.
Anthony, powered by Mor-Gran-Sou Rural Electric Cooperative. KQDU also
was knocked off the air when its transmitter, northeast of Bismarck,
lost its power through Capital Electric Cooperative."
