I seem to recall many years back an AM radio station that was programming NFL football, had a marginal AM signal inside the stadium especially on night pattern.  It seems that an engineer suggested back on one of the old technical list talked about using the RPU AM on one of the 1600 kHz. frequencies and giving away Fix Tuned radios for use in the stadium.  The radios would be sponsored.
