What's going through my mind on this "roll of stuff
left at the driveway" thing is that   *someone*   paid
for it and probably someone   *else*   left it there and
then left town to go to another job.

That  *someone*   might not like it if you sell their
property.   So the suggestions about trying quite
diligently to find the actual owner are, in my opinion,
absolutely correct.

There is of course the clear possibility that the
owner has no idea that something was left over
from a job and is sitting there crying for Momma.
I'd look at the roll for identifying info like a sales
order or somesuch.
