[BC] Protecting the roof from ice.

    Many years ago, we had an ice buildup event, and the news crew on one of
the local TV channels was commenting on all the ice on the (700') tower out
their back door. I think there was some discussion on whether they should be
there, etc. Soon a chunk of ice came through the ceiling onto the set. Yup,
time to go.
