I (had) a customer who required that some software I wrote work on
Vista. I didn't have any choice. He paid for the box. I just use it
for Email or testing user interfaces. My other computers in this
office are two Linux machines (one AMD 64-bit), one Sun Workstation,
and one Windows XP. At home, I still use WIN-2000 (for piano music
recording and editing) plus another Linux machine for homework.

Yep! I've got most everything but Apple. I have nothing against
Apple, but Steve promised me a laptop, but then he got sick. If I
ever get one, it will probably look like this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Apple_I.jpg .

Cheers,

After mostly lurking for the last couple of months, I must say I am
shocked that Mr. Johnson had anything to do with a Vista confuser.
After months of using a Vista confuser, I can safely say Friends
don't let FRIENDS use VISTA......and Win 7 is super Vista.
Here's good news Staples is installing Win 7 for no cost......
