Good! You seem to act as though you know something about them. Perhaps you can check the field intensity. Maybe they have a problem with their ground system or there are new radiating structures (perhaps cell-towers) that are seriously affecting their coverage on the North Shore and points North-West. As a child in the '50s, I could listen to WBZ on a Gelena Crystal set in North Brookfield, even when WBZ-A was operating. Now, the coverage is very spotty.

WBZ is operating at full power as it has for the last 60 years. They do not operate for months at a time on the non directional auxiliary antenna.
