That's a shame..it was a sight to behold. I've seen some other pictures, 
including one where the soon to be main transmitter (the 317C) is 
sitting _inside_ the Western Electric, waiting to be installed! And you 
are correct, you could walk through the transmitter..plenty of room. And 
water cooled, to boot.
