My brother and father use Hughes Net.  My brother had something else  
before Hughes.  They are very happy with it.  Of course, they mostly  
use it for e-mail and web surfing, but it works for VoIP, though with  
the delays one would expect.  If it had a lot of jitter or repeates,  
VoIP would sound awful.  I know because I used to have Adelphia.

I do know they scale up the price if you use it a lot.  If it is an  
STL, it could become expensive if you care about audio quality.
