The D-shaped feed roller -- there is a similar roller on the  
accessory second feed tray -- and the fuser roller are the only items  
which seem to fail, due to wear, on the EX or EX plus marking engines.

The same marking engine is used on the Apple LW Pro 630 and 16/600.

The toner cassettes are often available for cheap from Merit Line.

The same EX/EX plus toner cassette is used in all of them.
