[BC] Tubes and chips (McMartin BA-1K)

BA-1Ks can be modified to sound REALLY good! They have some minor wiring
problems in the modulator and a few caps are too small. They also have have
4-500s in them and you have to convert them to run with 4-400s because the
4-500s aren't available any more.

My all time favorite tube transmitter is the McMartin BA-1K. It is the ONLY
tube box I would have, and I still love the looks of it. I've been searching
for a working McMartin BA-1K for over 12 years now and I can't find one for
sale. I call Charlie Goodrich and didn't have one for sale.
